I have to say I've never used full-featured copy of Acrobat, I ever used its free reader only. PDFelement from my point of view is much easier for personal users to learn and operate.
I bought its Professional version which includes edit, convert, combine,markup and OCR, also data extraction (until now I never used this function. It is business-oriented) I often edit and annotate most, sometimes OCR scanned files.

It is very easy-to-use. But I think it is just for reading, am I right? What about converting PDF to Word? You can do more than just read PDFs with it. You can mark them up and digitally sign them and do some modifying of PDFs (i.e.
Reorder pages, delete pages, add pages, etc). You cannot covert from PDF to Word (other than the normal highlighting of text in the PDF, using the 'copy' command, and then switching to Word & use the 'paste' command). You also cannot actually edit the content of a PDF (i.e. Edit a word or sentence) with it.
